©2020 Olympia Black (P)2020 Olympia BlackThe female narrator is very good, but the male is atrocious. Every character in the book sounds exactly the same (boring), even the different sexes. Part of his poor delivery is due to the editor. The speech-speed for the two orators is out. I settled on 1.15x, which is not ideal for either, but at least she doesn’t sound hyperactive or him so moronic.
I gave this book away about 1/3 through. Whilst I cannot recommend this book, I will look for other novels narrated by Amber Lee Connors.
