really enjoyed the story. Gramps and Gran were the highlight. I am looking forward to Ares story.

I picked this through audible plus as I like this author.
Not everything is to my palate and I wasn’t sure about this but listening whilst driving passes the time.
The narrator does a great job and the story itself was entertaining and fresh.
Derek surprised me right from the start with the mugger incident, perfect segue into his upbringing.
I adored Dereks grandparent, what a hoot.
I liked Athena but her “this is all my fault” thinking dropped her down a notch. She wouldn’t have been able to change the actions of the deranged doctor.
All in all a pleasant story.
I am still debating whether to finish the series. Pity they are not also in audible plus.
