They saved each other , in the end. <br /><br />
When a woman heals the enemy 's warrior , especially in the MacIrwin Clan, she learns that there will be retribution from her own clan. Luckily, fleeing to the enemy's site, sees a warm welcome from the healed warrior, although that doesn't mean that the problems are solved, in fact , there's more to the story than this small drama, which leads to a very interesting read.
I listened to the audio rendition of this book, and was impressed by the sound effects, especially when a thought of a character was being portrayed.

Wow!
I just loved this book. I enjoyed the narrator & I read along with him.
I adored Alistair very much, grew to love him in fact.
I would get frustrated with Gwenyth at times, she was so headstrong & determined. But so happy that she came to her senses in the end.
I loved the McGrath Clan very much & I am looking forward to the other books in the series. X

Not bad
I thought the story line was excellent, but the ending was too abrupt. Hated the echo effect in the narration it was off putting. Also Do these narration ever get edited because the annunciation of certain words is awful and incorrect. Over all it is ok. But not a story I could listen to over again.

a great story
I loved the story, the premise of this book. Alasdair is a Highlander warrior, with honour and loyalty, loved the way he is portrayed. Gwyneth, the English lady, who saves his life at the beginning of the story, is not as bright and she behaves as expected of a haughty aristocrat even though she is banished from her title and wealth. Loved the twists the story took and toward the end when I thought it was smooth sailing toward HEA, Ms. Sinclair threw me for a loop, loved it. Looking forward to the next one.
Loved Andrew Bryan's voice, the different accents, and how I could discern the various characters. The narration had some aspects that bugged me, when not in dialogue the narrating had no punctuation, most of the time ending the sentences with a questioning tone; also in some places the tone didn't match what the character said. Although I loved Alasdair's voice, his voice boomed when he was mad or whispering or just talking.

Awful narration
This would have been a great story… Just needs another narrator. Someone like a Divina Porter. I found the echoing thoughts very weird. Will not read another book by this narrator.

Highland Chemistry 101
Vonda Sinclair delivers a delightful first book in the Highland Adventure Series. I appreciate Ms Sinclair’s descriptive writing style. This is a book that is written not only with words but with feeling.
This is the story of a widower, Alasdair, a strong and compassionate Highland Laird, and Gwyneth, a determined and passionate English Lady who happens to be a healer. Their relationship is built on indebtedness and progresses to a love full of sensuality and chemistry. This couple is very compatible…..in more ways than one!
If you enjoy Highland historical love stories then you will enjoy this one. I'm looking forward to the remainder in this series.

Wonderful Story
What made the experience of listening to My Fierce Highlander the most enjoyable?
I loved reading this book when it first came out, but listening to it with the narrator's sexy, smooth voice, made it even more vivid and entertaining. This book is atmospheric, intriguing, touching and passionate. Gwyneth is compassionate and brave, trying to make a new life for her and her young son in a strange land. And Laird Alasdair is beyond sexy, trying to bring peace among the clans. I fell in love with him and was rooting for this couple all the way. If you want to feel like you've traveled back in time to the Scottish highlands, I highly recommend this book.

Such a Delight!
I really enjoyed this story a lot. It started with the very first sentence when I discovered the heroine carried my maiden name, through the various trials and tribulations that she faced, to the very last scene where the villains get their comeuppance. Altogether an enjoyable listen. The narrator did an excellent job as well. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a droughtlander read.

highlands come to life
Would you consider the audio edition of My Fierce Highlander to be better than the print version?
This was one of the very first audios I received, and I absolutely loved it, I don't think it's better than the print copy as I love reading but I do think it is on a level parr with it.
What did you like best about this story?
The best thing I love about the story is the accents come to life, so much better than imagining the voices
Which character – as performed by Andrew Bryan – was your favourite?
I loved all the characters
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The whole of it is moving as it has all emotions in it
Any additional comments?
I would definitely recommend this especially if you want to carry on doing things but don't want to put the book down because you are immersed in the story.

Romance and Adventure!
Would you listen to My Fierce Highlander again? Why?
I have never listened to an audio book twice, but I never delete them either, so if I ever wanted to listen to a book again then yes I would listen to this one :D
What other book might you compare My Fierce Highlander to, and why?
You can't compare this book to any others, excepting for the fact that it is in the same genre as other Scottish Highland romances. Every book has it's own hero and heroine and it's own story.
What does Andrew Bryan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Andrew has a very calming, relaxed narrating voice. He is a pleasure to listen to. His characterisation brings another persons idea of what that person sounds like, which is something you don't get when you read a book yourself.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Well of course it's always lovely when the hero and heroine get together :D
Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and Vonda Sinclair is now one of my favourite authors.
