I really loved the narrative of this book and the narrator at the beginning was slightly annoying but I got used to it. The plot is confusing with not knowing if her sister is real not, and it’s quite slow, so if you like books that get straight to the point, this one is not for you. Overall, it was a great book. Definitely recommend.

it seemed a bit slow at times then I found I had missed some inportant detail and had to go back

The plot twist was obvious quite early. Then there was too much tiny detail in descriptions. It got a bit frustrating.

The “twist” was obvious early on so it was kind of a matter of getting through it after that. I love JD Kirk so I feel bad giving a bad review but yeah, this wasn’t great. If you haven’t read his books before though don’t write him off. Definitely an author to look out for usually.
