I remember loving this series 15yrs ago.

Unfortunately, I cannot overlook the ways in which the story is implausible and contrived. The dialogue is average, a bit childish even…and the protagonist is super irritating to me now. I should never have revisited this because I am no longer a teenager and as such I no longer enjoy juvenile fiction like this.
