The reader spoke clearly and was easy to follow. A different view of the life of a soldier in a war zone is outlined . I was interested in the progression of the US forces on a modern battlefield to a, "checklist performance based reporting aimed at giving credibility to the writer whilst masking the reality". The concealing of sex offences by the military was also interesting. A good exposee'. Worth a listen.

Somewhat interesting. This is a narration of short life experience stories in the armed forces and life after in journalism. It’s gives a balanced view of events during operations and the absurd stupidity of American politics

Good book having played in the same sand at the same time I found this a truly down to earth account of those times and places, the rest is a interesting story of Murphy’s post army life.

It felt like it had no substance at all. The content was incredibly shallow, with a lot of profanity thrown in for no reason other than shock value. I was expecting something informative or insightful, but instead, it was just a lot of noise. I couldn’t take away anything meaningful, and honestly, I regret wasting my time on it. If you’re looking for something with real value, this isn’t it.
