Nick Lawrence and the Valhalla Group are tasked with taking down the distribution network, and they must partner with Boston’s elite Tactical Narcotics Team to get the job done. But just as they’re about to make a bust, things go south.

And Nick realizes that in the war on drugs, corruption is everywhere. And nothing is what it seems...

Exciting but Predictable Climax

I didn’t like the way the heroes completely ignore the legal rights of the bad guys. I hope that’s not how our justice system really works

what a waste

This was terrible. I guess it was a close of sorts to the Nick Lawrence series, but no comparison to the others. I was SO disappointed; I kept waiting for some action similar to the other books. but it never happened.

Not Shakespeare ... but entertaining

Predictable but entertaining to listen to while mowing the lawn. The Nick Lawrence series could use better narrators.

Great series!

Awesome series. Will read Brian’s other books as well.

I have one complaint with audible, why change the narrator on the last book. They were very good but why change it on the 6th book of a series.

disappointing

spoilers. sorry
I was very disappointed in this return of Nick and Declan and the Valhalla group. yet another member dies.. and in such a senseless way! If they have all this money to use for private jets and top notch electronic equipment, would it not have made sense to have vehicles set up with bullet proof glass?!! 🤦🏻‍♀️
and for crying out loud, the Valhalla group picks, supposedly, the best of the best.. but they don't do any psychological profile prior to bringing them on to see if they will have the make up to stay for the long haul?!! In this book the group loses 1 person to a senseless death and 3 others up and leave... the only small saving grace was the ending. And even that felt like a cop out.

Rambling

I thoroughly enjoyed Kill List and therefore was very disappointed In this book. It seemed to have no focus and too many main characters. The chapters rambled all over the place. Devlin, one of the main characters, seemed to have a very small role. There was very little explanation of the main characters history from previous book. If this had been my first Shea book I had listened to then I would not listen to this.Author again but since I liked Kill List I will probably try one more of his books to see if I like it better.

Nick Lawrence/Anderson

Well written. Action packed with suspense and romance. Well done Mr. Shea. Your life experiences really shined though. thank you sir for your service in all branches. Couldn’t wait to finish each book. I am hoping that there will be another series with The Anderson family.

Enjoyed the book but NOT the narrator!!

I've listened to all of the Nick Lawrence books & really enjoyed them but I struggled to finish this one due to the narrator!! I feel like it's a big mistake for an author to change narrators with a series.

Murder

I enjoyed listening to Corey Snow.

Another great story. A great listen. Stand alone story, but carries on from Killing List.
