Publisher's Summary

You were made to make disciples. Jesus gave His followers a command: “Follow Me.” And a promise: “I will equip you to find others to follow Me.” We were made to make disciples. Designed for use in discipleship relationships and other focused settings, Multiply will equip you to carry out Jesus’ ministry.

Each of the 24 sessions in the audio book corresponds with an online video at www.multiplymovement.com, where New York Times best-selling author David Platt joins Francis Chan in guiding you through each part of Multiply. A Necessary Kick in My Rear

I’ve always enjoyed Francis Chan’s books and sermons, but this book packs a wallop! I read the book alone (while instructed to do with another) and watched the online videos, and this book has strengthened this knowledge: while I’m still here on the earth, God still has work for me to do. Each morning I must thank God for His love, for Jesus, for His Word, and the Holy Spirit. Multiply speaks of being a true disciple who were called to go forth and teach. This is God’s will, and it should be mine. I pray that, as I wake each morning, I understand that God has work for me to do; I’m thankful for Jesus, who paid the price for all of our sins, then conquered death; I’m to study God’s word and pray diligently, not just spouting off wishes, but speaking, listening, to God. Thanks, Francis, for a wonderful book and passionate narration.

Full of honesty and passion and very logical, very helpful!

This book is very helpful for me. It touches upon our most fundamental identity issue—-what does “Christian” really mean? Can we call ourselves “Christian” while not following Jesus? The book gives a very inspiring and insightful overview of the Old Testament and the New Testament, and the relationship we may have with God through Jesus Christ. I recommend this book without any reservation.

What is church?

This book will answer the question. Francis helps redirect the confused Christian world on the topic of what it means to be a Christian, and what the church is.
