I had to stick this one out, I’ve loved all the Mister books but this one was a little harder to get through. The narration probably had a bit to do with it… Jill Redford’s narration grated on me a bit, I find her style to be quite overacting and Joe Arden is always a bit dry, monotone and emotionless for my liking but overall the narration was good without being great. The story was a lot… as usual, JA Huss brings it with a massively huge culmination and tying up of lots of loose ends throughout the series in the final few chapters and it was definitely worth sticking with to get to the end. Well written, and although I REALLY disliked Katya for most of the book, and was ready to throttle her right up until the final couple of chapters, Oliver’s character was a surprise and had a lot of depth to him. Overall, this series has been great although it took a lot of brain power to keep all the Misters straight in my head whilst reading!

I loved this book when I read it and as usual the audio added a whole new dimension.
Perfect ending to an amazing series. All the loose ends came together and we got all the answers in the most explosive way. And Oliver, he was such a surprise. So romantic - we find out how he takes after his father. All the feels in THAT one scene (give me more...)
