About this listen
I made a deal with my brother a long time ago to never date his teammates.
Technically, Rowan Landry, the hot as hell center for the Chicago Falcons, is no longer my brother’s teammate. Or his best friend. Their college days are long behind them, and they barely talk now.
Also, I’m not dating him—we’re just sleeping together. There’s a difference.
Except there’s not a lot of sleeping going on, and neither one of us wants to stop what we’re doing.
It’s all fun and games until my brother is traded to the Falcons, because Rowan doesn’t know I’m the new goalie’s little sister. Oops.

I toyed with this being a 3 star, but ultimately I think if I'm yelling at my car speaker and skipping through large chunks of the audio I have to go with the 2 stars.
Now this was not a bad book, I do have a tendency of picking these books up and then being annoyed by the one tracked mindness of it, so let me start with what kept me listening.
The full cast was great! Like this is such a win when the audiobook has a proper character based cast! Loved! I actually really liked all the male characters, they are quite clearly being set up for their own books and I am genuinely interested in their stories.
What might keep me from listening to those stories is the same thing that frustrated me with this book. There was no identifiable plot. The issues the FMC had seemed slightly teenagery, I believe that by this age, people should be able to cope with said problem in a more mature way -putting everything on hold and just blanking out the world seems a bit 'hormones are high-ish', but then again who am I to judge. Regardless, nothing really happened except for the one thing that would not stop happening. And then after only this one thing happening, barely a conversation gone by, they are magically HEA. It just didn't track for me. I found the FMC very childish, her behaviour silly and caught myself growling at the miscommunication on several occasions.
I like a bit more plot and a whole lot more connection in my romance books - but hey, each to their own!!
I just need to decide if the personality of the other men has me intrigued enough to continue.
Was there a connection? A plot? Cute though
