Not a K9 search & rescue book

I love K9 search & rescue books. To me this was not that kind of book. There wasn’t hardly any mention of the dog at all. The main character was peppy even when in danger & worries about her friend.

I had a hard time following. It’s not a bad book just didn’t fit what I was looking for.

opposites attract

I wanted a light but adventure based story and this fit the bill. Jack has his own IT company, just him and his assistant, but his vocation is mountain search and rescue with his dog Romeo. Zoe is a councillor for troubled teens, trying to ease a broken heart with a mountain walk and her best friend from school. They are attached and her best friend kidnapped, she left on the mountain side to die until Jack and his team ate called out.
