Four decades on, Mooty continues to charm children and adults alike.
Author Jessie's reflections on Mooty & the Satay-man: In the 1960s, an itinerant satay-man used to carry his satay stall and come around to the housing estate where I live. We would often get satay from him and it was fun watching him prepare the sticks of delicious satay on the spot for us. And of course, Mooty had to have his share of satay too!
