Poor choice of Narrator
This is a well written account of Jane Rochford with interesting details and descriptions giving an insight into the times of the Tudors. It is a shame that such a childish voice was chosen for the narration. Jane Rochford has been both vilified and praised throughout history and this account depicts her as a strong and perceptive woman. However her character does not come through with this narration. Galena should stick to children’s books and not attempt strong characters of history. Many times I almost gave up but the writing of the author G Lawrence saw me persist to the end. I should have simply read the novel myself.
