Publisher's Summary

Max Riley is the man of your dreams. Or at least he will be, for a price.

As his alter-ego Mister Romance, Max is a drop-dead gorgeous escort who makes romantic fantasies come to life. No sex, just swoon-worthy dates to die for, and the cream of New York's socialites can't get enough. Whether they want a dominating billionaire, bad boy with a heart of gold, hot geek, sexy biker, or best friend who loves them from afar, Max can make it all happen, but he's careful to keep his real identity a secret.

Enter investigative journalist Eden Tate. Having caught wind of the urban legend of Mister Romance, Eden is determined to publish a scathing expose on Max and his ability to swindle lonely society women out of their fortunes.

Desperate to protect his anonymity and his clients, Max challenges Eden to give him three dates. If she doesn't fall in love with him, she can run her story with his blessing. If she succumbs to his charms, the story dies. Cynical Eden has no doubt she can resist his fake romance personas, but when the real Max admits he's falling for her, she has to decide if the professional liar is telling the truth, or if the passionate man with the mysterious past is just one more character designed to con her out of her career-making story.

Contains mature themes.

Wow.

Loved this book. Swoon worthy. A story to make your heart sing. would listen to this book again.
Andi Arndt does an amazing job of the male voice and it is easy to forget it is only Andi reading.

Thank Goodness it's Over

I'm not sure why I hung in there to hear the entire story. The narrators were obviously awesome, but the story irritated me. I guess I'm not a fan of nosy reporters so her character already bugged me, but then she wasn't even a good reporter or I supposed she just wasn't inspired which is exactly how this story made me feel. I wanted to escape reality with hot passion, a great story and hot 🔥scenes that would make me wish I was in the story. However, though the middle had promise, it all just turned into a big tease where I felt like nothing was really happening and I was just wasting my time listening to so control freak woman who would say the most unintelligent things. He was awesome the entire story but she got in my nerves. She would go on and on about having a closed heart but she would love a reckless life of meaningless sex with everyone but the man I wanted her to call for even though I couldn't understand why he liked her even when he did get around to explaining it. Then when it finally heated up in the last few chapters, which were some of the better parts of the book, esp the ending, she got all whiny and clingy which drove her and me crazy. Like girl suck it up and let the man figure it out ugh. Oh well. I wish the previous reviewers would have warned me before I wasted a credit, but at least it's over and I will never listen to this story again. Maybe you'll feel differently, but I feel better knowing I at least warned you.

My 1st Leisa Rayven book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Andi Arndt is so dang talented that I love listening to her over and over again what a amazing women/voice love that she can nail all her characters and seriously blows her male voice characters out of the water... I seriously forget it’s just her narrating the book she is that good! Thanks for making this story come to life with your talent and what a awesome story it was.. I met thinking one thing was going to happen and of course was thinking the worst and was so pleased to be wrong. I could relate to this female character in so many ways that it was so well written not like most romance books that are predictable.. Leisa Rayven I’ll have to check out more of your writing and I really hope you continue to use great narrators like Andi Arndt she is Bad A$$!! If you haven’t checked out this book it’s a must!

Enemies to lovers romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a bit of an enemies to lovers “sizzling” romance. It has a bunch of funny stuff in it too Andi A kills it with her accents. Especially her German😉. It has a sweet HEA. This is a standalone but the female characters sister stars in the next book, Professor Feelgood. I’ll be listening to that ASAP

Ten Stars!

Andi Arndt does it again in her narrative.
And this story truly shows how romance really does exist... just listen and you'll feel the same!!
Max is the man for all seasons... and if he knocked on my door I'd fall over. I don't need to see him first to know just by listening to him that I'd be head over heals by his voice alone. Or by the description.
Eden is a reporter, who learns about a man who will give wealthy women the date of their dreams. No sex. Just romance.
Now that Max finds out about Eden, he makes it his challenge to get her to not write about him.
The characters that Max morphs into are amazing... as are his multitude of talents.
Interwoven in this delightful tale are Eden's sister, her Grandmother and pain of a boss, oh, and a computer hacker of a co-worker of a friend... Max's friends, his " dates " and a father, mother and brother.
I can't wait for more from Leisa!!!

Incredible Romance

This was everything I needed in a romance. Comedy, depth of characters, amazing (Capitol A for AMAZING) narration-my favorite Andi Arendt ever. Leisa Rayven is one of my new favorites! I think this is one of my favorites of the last two years, one that I’ll remember. Just light, flirty and fun. Plenty of steam. Don’t wait! Just press purchase lol.

should be a movie !!!!

Such a great book and storyline BUT it was hard for me to like Eden for a while because she was TOO closed off and cynical. I get it you were hurt but sheesh. I would love if this was a movie, I’d watch it time and time again!!!!

Good, all-round romance story.

I really enjoyed this as an easy listening story. A bit sickly sweet but that's why we read this type of book, surely!? Just see aside the TERRIBLE Irish accent and slightly monotonous male voices and this will tick all the boxes for all your romantic, chick-lit needs.

Good book

Enjoyed listening to this. Didn’t give it 5 stars because had a few issues with the heroine and the believability of the hero’s profession, but that didn’t take away from the overall book and it’s still worth a listen.
