Publisher's Summary

Willa, the vicar's little sister, knows full well that her prospects are bleak. When she accidentally kisses Alexander Braeburn, her dull, predictable world turns upside down. Logic dictates that she should stay away from the handsome Corinthian. He's the black sheep of their village. But how can she resist? She yearns for one more taste of the most tantalizing excitement she has ever experienced. Just one more before Willa settles back into her dreary life forever.

Alex is intrigued by the refreshingly forthright Willa. Her genuine character warms his jaded heart and makes him smile. When she naively marches into trouble, Alex feels duty bound to rescue her. Is it duty? Or something else that compels him to watch over the vicar's little sister?

Contains mature themes.

ANother hilarious Regency Romp

Loved this well written story that moves along nicely. The witty dialogue is second to none, the descriptions hilarious and had me in stitches. I particularly found the narrator most engaging, especially her rendition of the notorious aunt's giggle. Enjoy!

Ok

My least favourite of the series. Repetitive, and little boring in parts. Still, some witty dialogue and flawlessly and entertainingly narrated.

Enjoyable

Having listened to the 3 books of the series and enjoyed audacious Aunt Honore’s personality throughout, I felt she was a tad tame (by her mischievous standards) in this one and therefore preferred books 1 and 3 more. The narration is great, the writing good, with a quirky mix of characters, but I wasn’t itching to know what was going to happened next. The last chapter/s were the most entertaining (bravo again for the delivery by the narrator).
