Great !

This was better than the first one. Hanlan is such an interesting character .The author feeds us little bits of information about her....keeps us guessing. Great story, some really scary moments!! loved it, looking forward to listening to number 3 in the series.
The narrator is brilliant !!

Good sequel

Enjoyed this book and the character Hanlon. Hopefully the next book won’t have her fooled by a fake friendship

Same Same, But Different

Um didn't the same thing happen in the first book? I liked the story, but the truth is that while Hanlon is tough, she's not a great detective. I really like the narrator so that kept me going.

Would be fine as a stand-alone but utterly predictable after book 1

The author has basically cookie cuttered the plot twist from the first book into a new scenario and I pretty much called it before I got a third of the way in.

First time

New author for me, I liked it but it went on a bit for me I was waiting for the crescendo. Got a bit lost with all the characters

Great read!

Great characters and pace of the story. Better than the first Hanlon book. Some violence but suits the plot. Excellent narrator.
