After pastoring in Wilmington, California and Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. James Marocco has served as senior pastor of King’s Cathedral and Chapels (formerly called First Assembly of God, Maui) since 1980. Although he lives on Maui, the church currently worships in 24 locations throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Van Guard University, a master of arts degree in ancient history from the university of Southern California, and a master of divinity and a doctor of ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Marocco has authored other books on spiritual warfare and Hawaiian history. He has been a board member of Dr. Cho Yongii’s Church Growth International Organization since 1985. He and his wife, Colleen, have been residents of Hawaii since 1976. Their children are Jamie and John Werner, Janelle Marocco, Joshua and Shannon Marocco, and grandchildren Joy and John Leslie Werner.
