I like Harlen Corbin - maybe it’s because this was a little older, but just didn’t seem up to the standard of his other books that I’ve really enjoyed.

If you can deal with rolling your eyes a lot and are looking for a trash holiday read go for it. The narration wasn’t awful but just a bit odd in parts - like no pause between some major changes in story arcs which was just slightly irritating. And apropos of nothing but why is every female character so ‘flawless’ and ‘stunning’? Ugh.

An early novel from Coben. It kind of reads like a rom com with horrible gruesome murders and an insane plot. But in a boring way. Thankfully his books got way better.
