Publisher's Summary

The life-changing best seller - over one and a half million copies sold!

Available as an unabridged audio download for the first time.

This audiobook includes eight guided meditations which are repeated at the end of the recording so they're easy to find. To listen just to the meditations, please skip to track 16. The meditations are also included within the audiobook so you can also listen to them as you go along.

Authoritative, beautifully written and much-loved by many, Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World has become a word-of-mouth best seller and global phenomenon. It reveals a set of simple yet powerful practices that you can incorporate into daily life to break the cycle of anxiety, stress unhappiness and exhaustion. It promotes the kind of happiness that gets into your bones and allows you to meet the worst that life throws at you with new courage.

Mindfulness is based on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). Co-developed by Professor Mark Williams of Oxford University, MBCT is recommended by the UK's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and is as effective as drugs for preventing depression. But, equally, it works for the rest of us who aren't depressed but who are struggling to keep up with the relentless demands of the modern world.

By investing just a few minutes each day, this classic guide to mindfulness will put you back in control of your life once again.

Life changing

A colleague gave me this book last year when I was struggling with severe anxiety. I discovered the audio book and found this so much easier to process and utilise within my busy schedule . This book changed my life for the better. I have continued to do near daily meditation and definitely know when I have missed a few days.
I love this book. I recommend it to all my friends.
