Publisher's Summary

Welcome to Midnight Fae Academy.

Home of the Dark Arts.

Vampires.

And cruelly handsome fae.

A forbidden bite led to my capture and recruitment.

There are no flowers here.

No life. Only death.

I’m an Earth Fae who doesn’t belong here.

They can play their little mind games all they want, but I'm going to find a way back to my elemental world. Even if it kills me.

Except, Headmaster Zephyrus is one step ahead of my every move.

Prince Kolstov won’t stop cornering me.

And Shadow - the reason I’m in this damn mess to begin with - haunts my dreams.

My affinity for the earth is dying and being replaced by something more sinister. Something powerful. Something deadly.

The Midnight Fae believe this is my fate.

They claim that I was “recruited” for a purpose.

To battle a rising presence. Or to die trying.

I don’t owe them a damn thing. But if I have to pass their trials to find my way home, then so be it. I survived a plague and far worse in the Elemental Fae realm. An ominous energy? Please. What a joke.

Give it your best shot. I’m waiting.

And don’t you dare bite me. Or, I’ll make you regret it.

Author's note: This is a dark paranormal reverse harem trilogy with bully romance (enemies-to-lovers) elements. Despite Aflora’s opinions on the matter, there will definitely be biting. Shadow, a.k.a. Shade, guarantees it. This book ends on a cliff-hanger.

Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance

Midnight Fae Academy: Book One by Lexi C. Foss is a dark paranormal reverse harem bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett, Kale Williams, Gregory Salinas, Rich Miller, and Lessa Lamb.

Book does come with an author’s note “This is a dark paranormal reverse harem trilogy with bully romance (enemies-to-lovers) elements. Despite Aflora’s opinions on the matter, there will definitely be biting. Shadow, a.k.a. Shade, guarantees it. This book ends on a cliff-hanger.”

I absolutely love Lexi’s books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the books. I am loving the relationship that’s blooming between Aflora, Kols, Zeph, and Slade. I really enjoyed that we got each of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. I can’t wait for the book two to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.

Sarah, Kale, Gregory, Rich, and Lessa did an amazing job on the narration! I loved this dual narration throughout the book. This is the first book I have listened to where each character had a different narrator. It was EVERYTHING!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal romances.

dark, intense

Aflora is an Earth Fae, whose essence is sunshine, earth, flowers and all things living. She's transported not by choice, to the dark realm, after being bitten by Shadow, a Vampire. He has a reason for what he did, but all will be found out in due time. There are many unanswered questions. Of course, it ends with a cliffhanger! This story brings you into the world of vampires, gargoyles, and darkness. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

That's 2 for 2 now! Loving this series so far.

I have to be honest, I am not usually huge fan of the cadence of Miss Puckett's voice, but I can tolerate it here. Now Kale Williams and Gregory Salinas, what an absolute dream team! Fortunately for me, in addition to Aflora's chapters, the book alternated between each guy's point of view. Seriously, the smooth British accent and the commanding alpha voices are straight up my alley.👌

It's interesting how the book starts off with an unwanted mating bond bite, but by the end, you get to understand why that was actually a good thing. Depending on whose perspective it is, the alpha-hole is not the actual bad guy here. We don't know who is the mastermind behind everything. So many questions are left unanswered as this ends on a cliffhanger, yet I'm so looking forward to the next book! I loved the direction Lexi C. Foss took with the creativity of the whole Midnight Fae world! I'm instantly transported back to my Harry Potter days (only this is for the New Adult crowd). From the Fae books I've read so far, I'm noticing a trend of maturity which actually starts at age 20-22. From there, the students start to hone their skills and find their destined mates. What's great about this book is the potential for change. The Midnight Fae are so outdated with the females having limited to no control. With the introduction of Aflora, she and her mates are bound to dismantle the council. Her survival literally depends on it!

While I do find Aflora a tad annoying (gurl, learn to compartmentalize: self-preservation now, retribution later), the men around her seem to care for and adore her. And since I'm smitten with Shade & Kols, I'm hoping the rest of the series is releasing on audio too! The sexual tension was sinfully delicious, a relatively slow-burn (experimental fantasies are played out in dreams instead). I was surprised at the nature of the relationship between a couple of the characters and would love to see the progression from there as a quad unit. #PinkFlamingProductions #TheFlock-VIPReviewer

This was so freaking good!!!

Seriously this book and the narration was so phenomenal!!! That ending was a killer even though I was prepared for the cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next books in this series & to see how this story unravels. The duet style narration was flawless & I feel spoiled getting to listen to it. After listening to the Elemental Fae Academy series I fell in love with this world & couldn’t wait to learn more about the Midnight Fae. 🎧🔥🎧❤️🎧🔥🎧

Too much I don’t know what I’m doing and bratty attitude.

This book would be great if Flora wouldn’t sound so dumb found in everything she does and have such a bratty attitude. It gets so trying and making me want to scream at her to grow the f*ck up and stop whining about everything. She’s supposed to be a Royal and should carry herself as a better person, but instead whines about everything. Still listening to the book and debating on continuing on, because she is starting to get on my nerves. Might exchange this book.

Midnight Fae Academy

Wow I loved this book. Afloura's world got rocked with one bite. She is an earth fae with secrets in her past unbeknownst to her. Midnight Fae are most compared to Vampires. This book is steamy. A lot happens to Afloura in this book. I can't wait for book two. The narration was incredible multi cast duet style.

Wow great new series!

This is the story if Aflora. She is bitten by a Midnight Fae named Shadow. Shadow is what I would equate to as the rebel, bad boy of the Midnight Fae. Aflora is an Earth elemental that is now cut off from her magic in the Midnight realm. She now has to rely on Zephyrus, the reluctant head master and Prince Kolstov, heir to the crown to get her through her trials and keep her alive. Oh did I mention she also becomes mated to Shadow! She also kinda hates Shadow. OMG that ending!!!!!!! I am not given away spoilers but book 2 is probably going to be amazing. All the narrators do an amazing job. Sarah is one of my favs!!! I have read other books by Lexi and I loved them so I was not surprised when I loved this one! #VIP Pink Flamingo Productions #Audio Obsession Reviewer

I loved this!

I loved this book! I loved Aflora and her mates. I mean you have to get to know them a little bit before you love them buy I promise you will eventually love them! Aflora is a strong character. I liked that she knew when it was time to fight and when it was time to back off a little bit. This book does leave off on a heck of a cliff hanger so be sure to get the second book immediately!

I listened to the audiobook and you guys it's amazing.. one of the best RH audiobooks I've listened to. It has multiple narrators which are absolutely perfect for the characters. If you have a chance to listen, you should!

Enchanting

This book captured my attention from the very start of the book, I could not stop listening to this enchanting and easy to listen to tale. I love Aflora’s imaginative cute version of swearing it had me laughing loudly. I am interested to see what happens next and how the relationship grows between Aflora and her men. A clever mix of voices for the narration, that really complement each other.

Delving into the world of the Fae is fascinating and magical.

Absolutely loved this audio book and the use of multiple narrators, which I feels gave the overall experience of the audio so much more.

The book in itself is already amazing.

Delving into the world of the Fae is fascinating and magical.

Alfora is facing the consequences of being mated without consent by a Midnight Fae, we are yet to find out Shadows reasons, other than it’s fate.

Both Kols and Zeph have put themselves on the line to protect Aflora, but she’s yet to realise how much.

Lexi’s mind amazes me, the details of the worlds, creatures, characters and their abilities is another level. It’s so easy to be consumed and engrossed chapter after chapter.

Looking forward to book as Aflora is not a happy Fae.

Excellent storyline

I really enjoyed this book. The storyline had an edge to it that had me hooked. I couldn’t put it down! I was worried I’d get lost with multiple narrators but they all have very distinctive voices and personalities. Brilliant!

Fascinating & Brilliant Story! Outstanding🎧📚🎧

I loved everything about this audiobook, from Lexi C. Foss’ wonderful writing style to the fascinating story and characters she created to the multicast of fabulously talented narrators who brought her story to life. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Ms. Foss is a master at creating imaginative worlds filled with characters who are equally imaginative. Her descriptive details brings you along side the characters, allowing you to see and feel what they are seeing, feeling and thinking. On a need to know basis of course, I love how she holds back info, making you wonder and think what is really going on. Aflora, the lead female, is an Earth Fae Princess, the last of the Royal family. Shadow aka “Shade” is a Midnight Fae who goes to earth and claims what is not supposed to be his, Aflora. He brings her back to his realm, what he did was a big no-no but since she is the last of her line the council decided to take a wait and see approach to see how the claiming bond takes. They send her to the Midnight Fae Academy and assign Prince Kolstov aka Kols to watch over her, as well as Headmaster Zephyrus aka “Zeph”. Aflora is new to their world and their way thinking, she needs to learn their ways as well as what kind of powers she possesses. I loved how everything plays out in this book, how Aflora’s relationship grow with each of the guys, then there is her new friendship with Ella. Zeph and Kols have their own history, then there is Shade, still not sure what the deal is with him, or any of them for that matter but time will tell. This is a great start to the series, a reverse harem bully romance, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments, emotional and heartfelt moments and some hot sexy times. I knew this was ending with a cliffhanger but wow, I did not see that coming, WTG Lexi C. Foss, thank you for another fantastic story.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous multicast narration, Lexi C. Foss casted the perfect lineup of talented narrators to bring her characters to life. Each narrator did an awesome job portraying their character, taking the role and making it their own. Sarah Puckett nailed the role of Aflora, she sounded just as I pictured her to sound as did the rest of cast, Gregory Salinas as Shade, Kale Williams as Kols, accent and all, Rich Miller as Zeph and Lessa Lamb as Ella. They all played their roles with perfection, grasped their character's persona and all their emotions. They are entertaining storytellers and their performance enhances the story to another level of greatness. Thank you for this fabulous listen!

Thre characters are fantastic and Shadow is great I love ihis attitude . I met Tray and Ella in Ella’s Masquerade so I knew how they met and you should listen to that first before this. The multicast narration is so good it makes the listening experience even better.

Pixie Dust!!!

OMG, first I need to talk about the perfectly, amazing, brilliant multicast narration, it was perfection, it's really well done and flawless, truly enjoyable, all of the narrators did such an amazing work. The cast was just perfect for each character:

Kale Williams as Kols, he is the perfect Kols, I truly enjoy all of his narrations and this was no exception.

Rich Miller as Zeph. It's my first time listening to him, but wow he has a truly great voice, so deep and srong, that suit Zeph to perfection.

Gregory Salinas as Shade. I love that he was cast as Shade, his voice just suits Shade's playful, carefree attitude, it was brillant.

Sarah Puckett as Aflora. Well Sarah is by far one of my favourite female narrators, and she keeps proving why with this performance of Aflora, she is terrific bringing every emotion of her to live.

Lessa Lamb as Ella. I was so glad that Lessa Lamb came back as her roll of Ella for this book, I really love her performance of Ella in Ella's Masquerade and this book wouldn't have been the same without her voicing Ella.

Now, for the story. I've tried so hard to stay away from any post regarding MFA to avoid spoiling myself, I wanted to go in blind to get the full experience, and it was so worth it. The story is great, it capture me from the beginning and I couldn't stop listening. I needed to figure out what was going to happen, how would all of them would become mates because I just didn't have a clue how that was going to happen, and GAH of course it was done brilliantly.

But wait... That ending, that cliffhanger... Why? Why Shade? Why, why why?
Now I have to wait patiently for the second book to come out on audio, and trying to stay away of any spoilers for the other books.
