Amazing second part to the first book. Pick up flawlessly and never had a down moment. I love how this author is so descriptive with the thoughts and emotions ilif the characters. The details that go in to describe each scene is incredible.

Like the first book, this was a pleasure to listen to. The story had all the angst, adventure, mystery, sexual tension, erotic voyeurism, murder ect.
I love listening to the narrators both have exceptionally good voices, and both help to bring the story to life.
Well done to the author and I’ll be looking for more.

The second book is longer and better than the first.
Kate is whisked off to Russia, St Petersburg, as Alex believes Kate is in danger because of him.
Kate is a prisoner in Alex’s house.
Alex leaves too many questions unanswered, which makes Kate uneasy.
He is seeking answers, but the answers are not coming quick enough for Kate.
Alex doesn’t want her knowing the seedier side of his business.

While I loved it I found book 2 a little more Alpha than I would have liked. He treated her like a mistress rather than a future wife. A little more communication would have been.
