Story
Computer-tech millionaire Bowie Callahan is about the last person that schoolteacher Katrina Bailey wants to work for. As far as she can see, he's arrogant, entitled, and not up to the task of caring for his young half-brother, Milo. Publisher's Summary
Strong, independent Torie Bradshaw doesn't like playing the damsel in distress, but when a stalker's sadistic threats finally frighten her into running, she knows of only one hero to call on for help: Matt Callahan. The sinfully sexy spy had saved her once before. Surely he'll play her champion again. If only they hadn't parted under such...unfortunate circumstances.
Matt has barely recovered from the last time he tangled with Torie. When she invades his private sanctuary bringing danger, drama, and a designer dog with her, he wants nothing more than to send the beauty packing. He's busy battling old ghosts and more recent wounds. But Matt can't deny his protective instincts or the fact that this troublesome woman has gotten under his skin. So when a killer comes to call, Matt faces a startling reality - he's about to lose all the things he never thought he wanted.

Brainless, self-centered heroines are NOT cute!
Enough! Silly plot contrivances. Brainless, shallow twits (with big breasts heaving, of course!) Petulance does not equal personality or charm. Surely the Callahan brothers deserve better. I admit, I could only tolerate this book up till chapter 5 or 6. I don't care if the idiot heroine is being stalked. I want the hero to go back in his house, lock the door, call the cops on her for shooting up the place, then FIND A BETTER HEROINE, one WORTH SAVING!!!

Get ready for a rollercoaster ride
Any additional comments?
I loved the first story in this series, and this audiobook was just as good. Ms March engages you from the moment you start the story.
Both Torie Bradshaw, and Matt Callahan are strong, likable characters and the plot will keep you on the edge of your seat .
Matt Callahan is a CIA agent and Torie Bradshaw , is a paparazzi , daughter of the general that Matt respects, and in big trouble. Someone wants her dead . The relationship of these two is tumultuous and the plot will keep you guessing . I specially loved all the references of James Bond.
Aside from the main plot , we continue to get glimpses of the relationship or lack there of, between the Callahan brothers and their father. Giving us a better understanding of the dynamics of said relationship.
So, get ready for a rollercoaster ride in this action filled romance.
I was gifted this audiobook . The opinions expressed are solely my own.

"You're personality has gone from Bond to Bubba
"You're personality has gone from Bond to Bubba in the blink of an eye"
Matt was called in to retrieve a friends daughter who was thought to be in trouble. The friend was right, his daughter was in big trouble, except, it was the wrong daughter. As Torie lets Matt believe she is her twin sister (not in a devious way), the electricity between them become palpable. When the truth is revealed (very early on), Matt shrinks back in disgust b/c not only was he deceived but he now has the hots for the "evil twin" and she shoots him. I mean this was a really great start to this book.
Poor Torie. If I had that much bad luck, I would isolate myself from mankind. I loved her. She was one of the better heroines I have read in a while. Yes, her job may be undesirable, but she loves it and defends herself to anyone.
