Friendships and danger in time.

I liked the action and weaving of the story
Between countries and times. It keeps suspense moving through out the story

Adventures continue!

I enjoyed a couple big plot twists. I continue to be amazed at all the voices and accents Laurel can do. Enjoyable addition to the series.

Masters in Time.....what a ride!

So, this series of books that Sarah has shared with us has been so much fun. I found myself talking to the characters as I have been drawn into these stories. I end one book running to the next one!

Great!

Another great book in the series. The narrator does her usual good job so that even if you've read the book it's worthwhile listening to it.

Loved this book

What did you love best about Masters of Time?

I loved the plot and the sense of racing to get back.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Masters of Time?

When Lily and David are reunited. Probably my favorite reuniting event of the series, next to Meg and Llewellyn. Of course the car crashing into the courtyard is pretty epic too.

Which character – as performed by Laurel Schroeder – was your favorite?

Oh that's hard. Probably Lily. She does all the characters so well.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Race against time. Racing for time.

Any additional comments?

My favorite series ever.

Great Story!

All the books in the series are excellent, but this is my new favorite. Pure excitement throughout and unexpected time travel in this one.

Let's just bring in the whole family! :)

This one was slightly different from any of the others because it wasn't the established main characters doing the traveling. That twist was both a shock and yet not surprising at the same time.

I do like the England/France co-op in this book though. Historically relations between the two countries have always been strained, but Sarah wrapped a beautiful story around the strains that were presented in the previous books.

I can't wait to see how the new addition to the family will fair in the world David and his family have created in the next book.

The sign of a good narrator

The sign of a good narrator is to never get in the way of the flow of the story and this story runs at a gallop - sometimes quite literally - across northern France & southern England in the Middle Ages and dips into 21st century USA, without the narrator ever slowing the pace. Sarah conveys the characters in such depth, via revealing how they act and react in the tale's events that we feel we know them intimately. What does this add up to? .... Listening all night in my case!

Good story, shame about the narration

I found the poor pronunciation and absurd accents used to present this book distracting. Some of the Welsh accents were distinctly Scottish with one being so far removed from Europe as to be almost Tibetan. The Yorkshire accent was just dreadful. Many names of people and places were mispronounced too.
