This is such a good series, I'm absolutely loving it. Mason is the next to fall. The previous book had our h portrayed in a dubious light. And I could totally see Masons' point of view. But as the emotion deepened, I could see he was in for a heap of trouble. Their were lots of twists that I didn't see coming, and the pace was fantastic. It was hard to stop before the end.
I just love that our past alphas and their women are included, and Evie is such a standout.
Nyssa has widened the story by bringing more characters into her book. Even future characters make an appearance, as well as characters for the next story in the series. The anxiety ramps up as the next target by the bad guys' shift.
There was another nicely written suprise that added to the anxiety and emotion.
This h isn't as kickass as others, but she's resilient and has her wits about her.
I'm still a bit frustrated that these antagonists keep slipping through their fingers, but I have to be patient, I have more alphas to discover and more heroine's to learn about.
This plotline just rolls every emotion into a big dose of angst and suspense and romance and love...with some steam.
This is such an awesome series, and I'm so glad I found it .
These narrators I've listened to before in different novels, but Heather had been in this genre many a time. She has a good voice for this h.
J F Harding is always a good narrator and brought Mason's character to life.
