Publisher's Summary

A sexy new stand-alone comedy.

Ash

I still don't know how it happened. One minute, I was arguing with my arrogant competitor - our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow, I went from throwing down to kneeling down.... It can never happen again. I don't even like him. He's too slick. He's a manipulating, mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes. So why can't I get him out of my head?

Sebastian

There are two things I know without question. One: Ash and I are destined for each other. Two: never trust a man with a unibrow. Ash is my missing my piece. She's the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don't call her the Ashkicker for nothing. Eventually I'll win her over...if my past doesn't ruin everything first.

Power Braht For The Win!

Overall: 5 stars
Performance: 5 stars
Story: 4.5 stars

This is another fun and hilarious book from Sarina Bowen and Tanya Eby. This enemies to lovers story features Braht and Ash, who were introduced in the previous book, Man Hands. Though this is book 2 in the Man Hands series, it can be enjoyed as a stand alone.

I absolutely love Erin Mallon and Luke Daniels. Their narration truly makes the story shine. Both are just the right amount of sexy and sweet, but they can also deliver some seriously laugh out loud dialogue. Braht and Ash were such fun and quirky characters. It was Braht though, who really stole the show. He was so adorkable that I couldn't keep the smile from my face. There is a little drama because of both of their pasts, but the majority of the story focuses on the delicious sexual tension between these two. The story overall wasn't as captivating to me as Man Hands was, but it was still an entertaining, lighthearted, and fun listen/read!

I loved checking in with Sadie, Tom, and Brynn, and I was happy to see that the friendships are just as strong in this book as they were before. I'm really looking forward to Sadie's story next and can't wait to listen to it as well!

the absolute best!

hilarious, sweet, hootttt!!!! i fell in LOVE with Brat particularly when reading the ebook & couldn't wait for the audiobook to come out. he's the quintessential metrosexual: totally embracing his feminine side & therefore even more viril. Ash is also absolutely fabulous. the intrigue/suspense part balanced out just right. i highly recommend this book!!

Wow. Hilarious. Wonderful.

I loved this audiobook. The narrations are perfect. You can tell the both narrators feel their respective characters. This is a romcom heavy on the comedy, so they make it work perfectly. I loved the story, but the narration enhances the appeal of the book. And that is great.

Oh man! This book is hilarious. Man Card is the second installment in the Man Hands series and is a standalone, though I believe it is better to read them in order. But that’s just me.

Braht! You will not believe this guy. He is so over the top! He is also sweet, considerate, smart and beautiful. At least according to Ash, his nemesis, and the girl of his dreams. They are rivals, both realtors working for the same firm, and totally attracted to each other. Braht wants nothing more than to convince Ash they are ment to be. Ash wants nothing to do with him. At first. But after the incident in Brynn’s pantry, resisting her attraction to him proves to be impossible.

Like I said, this book is hilarious. I don’t know another word to describe it. It defines it. It’s a given you will laugh. Out. Loud. Maybe even roll on the floor. Even fall out of your chair. It’s a given. This is not only a funny story, it has depth. It has meaning and a few points to make. You’ll see. The characters are awesome, the situations they go through are hilarious, and the way the story evolves is simply perfect. The inner dialogues are fantastic, freaking fantastic. You’ll fall in love with Ash and Braht while they fall in love with each other. It’s a win-win all around.

Doesn't disappoint!

I really loved the first book in the series, and couldn't wait for this one. It. Was. So. Funny!! Braht and Ash were so funny together and a perfect pair. Erin Mallon and Luke Daniels were the perfect narrators. I can't wait for Sadie's story! Tanya Eby and Sarina Bowen are quickly becoming must read authors for me.

I have a mixed opinions.

At times, lol funny. Then other moments I question the characters a bit. Possibly cuz it felt slightly New Adult. I will say it's a solid 3.5 stars at least.

Fun with all the cheesiness and a hint of suspense

Okay. This book was a whole lot of fun. For me, it was almost too much fun, bordering on silly and definitely totally cheesy. And cheesy is something I more often than not have to roll my eyes at instead of finding it funny, lol. Yeah, Chick-Lit just is not my scene. And I also had quite a problem with where his nickname ‘Brat’ came from, might have to do with the fact that it’s a German word and I’m German, haha.

But although I might have had these differences and thus also struggled a bit to get into the story, but once that happened, I totally enjoyed the ride. The banter between Ash and Sebastian and how they compete for best sale records while stumbling into predicament after predicament really is something!

And Sebastian – I loved that he wasn’t your typical manly hero, but quite embraced his feminine, err, metrosexual side as well. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t totally alpha and roguish in every way that counts, because, man… he was!

And Ash was just the right woman to handle him in all his unique glory. Having been burned badly before, she does not make it easy on Sebastian to crack her shell – and it takes him quite some efforts to not only conquer her body but her mind and heart, too.

Then things get even more interesting when an element of suspense I wasn’t expecting adds further depth to the story…

Erin Mallon. Without even wanting to, almost every second audio book I pick up is narrated by her. I believe my sub-consciousness is telling me something – and it’s right! This woman is brilliant in her narration, not two books are the same, always delivered with such emotion that I cannot help but fall in love with her voicing over and over again.
Luke Daniels was new to me before this one, and, uhhm, I want more please! His accents and his humor is spot-on and makes listening even more fun.

Entertaining Listen!

Tanya Eby and Sarina Bowen with Luke Daniels and Erin Mallon have another wonderful book. I find this series to be lighthearted and make me feel good. How can one not smile and laugh to this perfect banter in this love/hate book. Ash and Brahnt try so hard to fight the inevitable. I loved how both narrators added so many emotions to the book along with the humor with their various character voices. Both Luke and Erin are extremely talented. I loved how both authors wrote the book seamlessly. The glimpses into the characters from Man Hands was also an added boom. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series. This listen is a standalone and so worth the credit. Enjoy!
