Not a lot of substance to the story. She has her ancestors memories and moves to a mansion in New Orleans because of the call in her blood. She finds vampires are sleeping under her floor boards hiding from the witches.

I liked the premise but it didn't seem to deliver. Madison breaks up with her boyfriend & buys a house in New Orleans with plans to get some peace & write her new novel. But that all goes out the window when vampires wake up from under her floor boards, she starts dreaming of a couple she's never met & discovers a witch has be-spelled the town & her presence is started to unravel things. Plot points I wish were more fleshed out were Madisons link to the house & her past family, the story of the vampires in the past & the whole confrontation with the 'baddie' at the end, which was just a fizzle of a climax.
