This was a story that only had bits and pieces of mafia in it.

It was a slow burn with a cliffhanger at the end.

I'm not sure I really connected with these characters. They irritated me in equal measures.

I'm not sure I'll be continuing with the series.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with dual style audio.

What started as a power play, turned into a twisted love. She was so confused, and he was falling in love with her. Was a great start to this series. Ends with a cliff hanger. Part of a trilogy.
Narration was awesome.
