As others have mentioned, there wasn't much new in this book in the way of mindset and manifestation etc. but for the most part, it was entertaining regardless (and it's always good to get reminders and reinforcement.)

That said, titling your book 'Lucky Bitch' and then immediately explaining you opt not to use the word in your community (or again in the book) felt a bit off to me - a bit on the clickbait side of things i.e. good for attention/sales but otherwise 'couldn't possibly use the word.'

I understand there's a fine line between sharing your wisdom and telling your personal story enough so as to give credit to the aforementioned, but the memoir portion of this book (for me), was a little heavy - to the point of outweighing the 'guide' part (which the book's subtitle promises.)

There are numerous audio edits required - I'm surprised this hasn't yet been addressed by Denise and team and/or Audible. (If it helps to know, these are the areas needing further post-production: Chapter 3 @ 14:06, Chapter 4 @ 8:24 and 1:45:13, Chapter 5 @ 16:04 and 56:40, Chapter 6 @24:09 and 35:28, and Chapter 7 @ 53:10.)

Overall, I did enjoy this book and have 'Get Rich, Lucky Bitch' also waiting in my library.

I congratulate Denise on her determination and achievements, and for her refreshing candour. As a fellow Aussie, I'm proud to see Denise flying the flag and I'd recommend this book mostly for young women in their twenties for whom she'd be a good role model.

This is a great book full of wisdom & I feel like it gives me a pep talk to aim higher & expect more for myself! There were quite a few mistakes that were not edited out which was weird but I still listened from beginning to end so content was still good & exactly what I need right now!!! Highly recommend!
