Voller Verzweiflung verkleidet sie ihre jüngere, etwas knabenhaft aussehende Tochter Lucile als Jungen und nennt sie Lucidor. Doch Lucidor hat kein Glück bei dem reichen Onkel. Lucidor freundet sich mit Wladimir an und wird als Lucile seine Geliebte. Doch löst das die Geldsorgen der Mutter?
