About this listen
'Hopelessly, brilliantly, wonderfully romantic. I loved it even more than The Love Hypothesis, and I didn't think that was possible' Cressida McLaughlin
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new STEMinist rom-com in which a scientist is forced to work on a project with her nemesis - with explosive results.
Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project - a literal dream come true - Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.
Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school - archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.
But when her equipment starts to go missing and the staff ignore her, Bee could swear she sees Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas... devouring her with those eyes. The possibilities have all her neurons firing.
But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there's only one question that matters: What will Bee Königswasser do?

'Gloriously nerdy and sexy, with on-point commentary about women in STEM.' Helen Hoang, author of The Heart Principle
'Proves that STEM can be sexy!' Red

I read some bad reviews for it after I'd downloaded and to be honest, I'm glad I did because it far exceeded those reviews for me. Ali clearly has a formula that works, unexpected love in a lab where the male lead is hopelessly devoted to the female lead without her having a clue. I love it! It's so nice to read about men pine after women when it's so commonly the opposite.
The only thing I rolled my eyes at was the miscommunication trope again. I found that more annoying than inThe Love Hypothesis because how can a woman who is so smart be so blind? I know it was supposed to be to shield herself from more hurt and past trauma but God I hate miscommunication tropes when its uneeded for the story. It made sense in The Love Hypothesis to use it but I don't think it was necessary here.
Overall though, really enjoyed and the sex scenes were more frequent so yay for me and my love life too! 💕
Loved it
