Welcome to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where shape-shifters, vampires, witches, and dragons live alongside humans. I actually read the book after this one first would have been better if I had read in order. Love this town and it’s people it feels so typical of a small town with all the going ons even though many inhabitants are supernaturals.

Vwry entertaining listening - particularly reference to bridges over maddison county. narrators well matched to characters, do a good job. Male narrator particularly great with a human version of bear voice. Well done, great break from reality.

Still worth the listen with interesting developments but not as wonderful as the first book, which was full of wild imaginings. I think Harper unfortunately has fallen prey to a publisher's time pressure, forcing her to pump the rest of the series out too fast for Harper to refine her work and cook up super creative ideas. I will leep listening to the next book but may not last the whole series.

Reviewing Love and Other Wild Things after having just read for the second time (completed series a few months back).
Oh I love Zed, there's just something about him. And Dani with all her spunk.
Highly recommend the read along with all others in series.
Unpretentious and so well balanced, never feels like too much of anything.
This series has been a stand out and am yet to find a series with the same amount of wit, fun, charm and character as this.
Love the dual narration, they both do a brilliant job!
