If ever it was time to kill off DI Helen Grace, this is the book.
Time she left the scene altogether.
Her skill as a DI is driven by her narsasitic, screwed up view of the world and herself within this world. Her so called interest in her newphew - drove him over the edge - time for her to be put to death, end the series with an appropriate end.
