Azura has to chase down a crime syndicate of lumberjacks. As bizarre as that sounds, it's her only lead to help her brother, Dr. Amos Brady, and some of her wealthiest clients. Despite her deep misgivings about nature and relaxation as a whole, she goes all in and rents a cabin in a Colorado national forest to go undercover. But when a hiking excursion goes wrong, she stumbles right into the arms of a masked man who is as terrifying as he is enticing. He goes by the name of Wolf, and the only thing more frustrating than his determination to keep Azura from escaping his cabin is the way she starts to feel about him.

Wolf wants nothing more than to finish his drone pilot assignment in the woods and get back to his life in Seattle. But then a smart-mouthed, high-profile lawyer finds her way into his cabin, and he has no choice but to keep her locked up until the mission is completed. The problem is, just as things are heating up with his operation to infiltrate a dangerous crime syndicate, Azura becomes a direct target of the deadly organization. Wolf is soon forced to choose between completing his assignment as planned or protecting the attorney he's been keeping in his bed. He soon realizes that he would do anything to protect thorny Azura Brady...even if it means putting his life at risk.
