This was a refreshingly authentical and unique Alien slow burn Romance with great world building and suspense. It is almost comparable with 'Saving Askara' by J. M. Link [on audible], but not as sexy. This book is more about finding the compatibility in the cultural and biological differences and I guess the romp in the sheets will truly happen in book 3 [book 2 is actually book 1.5 a side story and novella]. The narration was really good, but the differentiation between male and female characters was none existent, but each chapter mentions who is speaking which made it easier to differentiate. Allin all this book got me out of my reading funk, as I couldn't find a book that kept me interested to the end lately. I hope book 3 is out soon.
