this book is truly for us girlies in our 20s, to me it highlights how messy this time of our lives are and that everyone is at so many different stages. eddy was just so fierce and relatable because she covers her vulnerability and soft side with her attitude. teddy and gus completely stole my heart and truly don't think lyla can write a bad book. she nailed their dynamic, teddy’s chaos mixed with gus the grumpy cowboy gave me the best chemistry and the tension when they were "enemies" was delicious. I adored the bond guy had with his daughter and then watching teddy with her was just even better. it was great to see a healthy co-parenting relationship that was honest and with no unnecessary drama. this book was raw and heartfelt with the perfect balance of fun and spice.
