Jim Melton is as uncomfortable as a rabbit in a tree. He soon discovers that the folks in rural South Carolina are friendly, nosy and clannish. He learns that love doesn’t run any smoother than a Baptist Church.
And then there is Harold Witson, a beer drinking good-o’ boy who will stop at nothing to have Jim fired. The anger the backbiting and the distrust reach a boiling point. As they say, redheads are hotheads and somebody’s head is going to roll. The question is whose?
