This is my gfs account. This book is great. I was very keen to understand the conflict in the Kurdish region after so many news articles on it. I really enjoyed the personal touch and emotional connection Azad gives to his story. it creates a very poignant picture, and gives a good understanding of what happened in Kobani and the surrounding area. Definately recommend this book!
