The narrator was excellent and the story was quite suspenseful and interesting, and the mystery of the steamer trunk kept me listening for the reveal.
I feel like it was more suspense than really horror, there were elements of horror but it was certainly more subtle than your typical slasher horror.
I did feel a bit let down that the writer left a lot of detail up to the imagination, which I would have liked him to be more explicit, and explain a lot more in some parts.
The characters were relatable and interesting and seemed realistic.
Overall it was compelling and I couldn’t stop listening, I finished it in about a day and found it very enjoyable, except for the minor things that I think could have been more detailed.
I guess it’s a sign of a good book that I want more!
