Love love love this
Wow, what a well-written story, nicely matched by the narration. I was invested from start to finish and sad when it ended, but I also wanted to know more about the secondary characters. I do hope they get their own stories in the series. The leads were well-suited and likeable; their budding love sweet. It would’ve be wonderful had Lady Charlotte slapped the harlot - but that would’ve be most unladylike! I highly recommend.

I was eager to listen to this tale following previous reviews, but lost patience with constant repetition of secrets most damning, so much so that I was guilty of skipping chapters to move the tale along. Disappointing that the tale was drawn out so much.
