Kyroo is a vast world which many species call home. A mysterious curse rapidly sprawls forth every night as the twin moons vanish behind a curtain of eternal darkness. The unknown magic is raising demons from the depths of the planet that are praying on the unsuspecting. The Kyroo Kingdom is struggling to understand what has transpired as maps, texts, and many memories are now blank.

Logan loves the quiet farm life, even the endless hard work. The young man has a natural skill and passion for all things archery. As the curse affects his family, Logan thirsts for knowledge about what is happening and leaves his farm. He journeys to Narree, where he meets Riya, a farm girl just as determined and resolute to adventure as Logan is. They decide to brave the curse, fight the demons of the night, and help by redrawing lost maps.

fun series!!!

Good story and narration!

A young man with a bow, a few arrows, and dreams of adventure has his whole world changed in one fateful night. An unnatural darkness has taken over the night and he is one of only a few equipped to handle it. adventure Fortune and beautiful ladies await on an epic adventure sure to make you chuckle.

The narration was well done and really brought the characters to life!

I really enjoyed this series and it's awesome that you can get the entire series for one credit!

Good God.

What in hell's name is this narration. It's shocking how easily a narrator can wreck a story. Anyone's mental-narration is leagues more colorful than this woman's lit class read through.

Comparing the listening experience between this pile of wtf and Marc's other series, Gryff, is like comparing a pile of butt salsa and a 4-star restaurant's main entrée.

Great story, just have to suffer through her disjointed reading ability. Occassionally, she doesn't even narate, and you hear him repeat or read the female parts himself.

it was ok

the fact that Logan loses many things like his power and is so passive that he would give up hard acquired strength and possessions. logan is pathetic and it's more a story about how the gods play with something they made.

Good then disappointed.

I like the first book of the trilogy, but after that the quality falls a bit. The female narrator is monotone and does not give female characters life. I won't criticize the story, I'll just ask why was the main character made out as a fool when he was one of the smartest characters and both of his fathers was supposed to be great warriors?

Not Just A Lackey

This was a wonderful box set. Logan and his team have amazing adventures and the action rarely stops. As each book progresses the story only gets better. I highly recommend this series.

Terrible editor and dialog

The first book was ok, but all the dialog is cringy. After the first book, everything boils down to the gods hands the mc everything so he does whatever he wants. The female narrator reads like William Shatner. The editor constantly has dialog repeat bc it was read in the wrong voice or narrator.

great original story

it was a refreshing story and went by fast because I couldn't stop listening. the mc was quite refreshing because he started out smart with common sense and not painfully ignorant. as he gets stronger and more knowledgeable about the world around him and the role he must play he doesn't lose his sense of self. all in all a great listen and I highly recommend it.
