The best narration I've heard, great story.
This felt like I was listening to a movie, it was narrated SO well. The story had me guessing the whole way through, twist ending. Phenomenal.

Wow
So cleverly written this book keeps you engaged from start to finish. I haven’t read any of Mary Kubica’s books before but I will definitely seek out more!

A little odd
I don’t really know what to think of this book. The readers sound really false and overly dramatic which is a bit annoying. The characters don’t seem to go anywhere. The girl who is locked away for 11 years knows words such as ‘callisthenics’ even though she was taken at 6 and locked in a dark room??? That really bugged me and I couldn’t move on from it for the rest of the story. You don’t hear from her again anyway. It’s just….meh.

AMAZING!!
This was a 6⭐️ read for me! It had me hooked from the first chapter! I found myself reaching for my headphones at every chance I got so I could listen…just 5 more minutes!! Narration was perfect! What a book, what a performance!!

The unexpected twists and turns
I was hooked, invested in the characters, it kept me guessing, the suspense at times made it hard to pause my listening, really great story telling

Amazing book
Absolutely loved this from start to finish. Captivated me from the first few chapters. Excellent characters and interwoven storyline. Perfect narration! This is an exceptional listen. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Five stars all round.

Couldn’t predict.
I love stories like this with a mystery and a twist. I listen to a lot so I’ve become pretty good at predicting the twist in lots of books. But this one actually shocked me. One of the twists I picked up on but the other I was actually so surprised. Some people I’ve seen complain that it was all wrapped up to neatly in the end but I actually enjoyed that it was all wrapped up nice in the end.

It was just okay
The story was okay it was nothing groundbreaking, I enjoyed the different points of views of the characters & the timeline jumps however the most annoying thing for me was the narrations. At time it sounded sped up when it wasn’t and other times it sounded slow.
I may have enjoyed it more if I had read the book instead.
