This felt like I was listening to a movie, it was narrated SO well. The story had me guessing the whole way through, twist ending. Phenomenal.

So cleverly written this book keeps you engaged from start to finish. I haven’t read any of Mary Kubica’s books before but I will definitely seek out more!

I don’t really know what to think of this book. The readers sound really false and overly dramatic which is a bit annoying. The characters don’t seem to go anywhere. The girl who is locked away for 11 years knows words such as ‘callisthenics’ even though she was taken at 6 and locked in a dark room??? That really bugged me and I couldn’t move on from it for the rest of the story. You don’t hear from her again anyway. It’s just….meh.

This was a 6⭐️ read for me! It had me hooked from the first chapter! I found myself reaching for my headphones at every chance I got so I could listen…just 5 more minutes!! Narration was perfect! What a book, what a performance!!
