About this listen
Inspired by an 1886 photograph titled "Arizona Female Scout" by A Frank Randall, LITTLE DURANGO, a historical novel, purports to be the "memoirs of Gabriela Falcon and a true account of the taming of the Arizona Borderlands (1869-1900)." Gabriela, whose nickname is Little Durango, recounts her interactions with Texas John Slaughter, C S Fly, the Earp brothers, Comandante Felipe Neri, John Clum, General Nelson Miles, and others.
No liberties have been taken with established facts.
This is as accurate a history as can be told through a work of fiction.
