well that was a full throttle ride through history ! it did take some getting used to the narrator and his pronouncing of words but i loved this and really looking forward to number 2

Tim's narration was excellent and the story easy to get into.

I sometimes find books based on historical events can be a bit tedious, yet Conn continuously highlights key points that lead me to further research by getting me invested in the characters.

liked the action sequences immensely and the detail of the shops. huge boring section in the middle about the plays. Narrator used ridiculous child like voice for Pericles
