Solid supernatural mystery with a decent set of characters and a solid audio performance.
Took a few listens to grab me but once I got past the general introduction I found the overall story engaging.

A young adult novel that doesn’t shy away from details

Neat little story. Saw a video about the author on Facebook and purchased this. Don’t regret it. Bit dorky, nice curve ball at the end, really enjoyed the ghosts. Made me laugh a fair few times.

I did find there was too many characters all at once at the beginning. It was also hard to tell the main characters aged, as she acted both 11 & 19, until her age is mentioned somewhere in the story. Can chalk that up to immaturity on her part, and clumsy writing on the rest. Especially when there’s a 19 year old adult character talking about experimenting with kissing guys… that’s the dorky stuff I meant earlier. These are little nit picks at worst though, and they don’t really detract from the story, so take them as just passing light criticism.

I found the story a solid listen, and the performance by the narrator was also excellent.
9/10 for the whole thing.

This book was really great. It had such a turn and I had a niggling but was not sure. This was so good. I listened to this in a day. Could not stop. I hope there are a few more and it becomes a series. Adored it! Highly recommend! 10/10
