Felt like the set-up story for a pending series. we are introduced to lots of characters, and the threads of where they fit in the story are left unresolved and dangling in the wind. The main characters are left romantically pretty much ok, but too much is incomplete. Some like this style, but personally I find it annoying. I doubt I'll bother with book 2.
