What a Treasure!

I'm so glad I found this book on Audible. I learned so much about the OT. The events & characters in the Old Testament are so colourful and interesting but I have a lot of questions. This book helped me understand the stories and the character of God in greater depth. I will suggest to listen one hour at a time, don't hurry. Give time for reflection and let all the information sink in.
This is a treasure of a book. I discovered so many hidden gems in the OT. I love it even more now. As the author says "The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed." Thank you Chuck Missler, someday I will meet you in heaven. I can certainly listen to this book over and over again and surely will discover more treasures.

24 hours through the bible is awesome

Very stimulating, invoked a greater desire to study the bible. Brought a deeper awe towards God as the creator.

it only goes to chapter 12 instead of 24

very interesting yet disappointed that it does not cover all 24 hours or chapters, like the description.

GOOD review one problem

This down only covers the Old Testament. The New Testament was cut off!
To bad Chuck Missler is great!

Best beginning commentary on the market

Although not an exhaustive commentary this is the best beginning commentary for discovering the historical background for understanding the bible as a whole unit! A great spring board for further study!

13 hours?

Every second of this is great, but it ends after hour 13. He describes what he’ll be covering in the following hours and then it says it’s over. Still worth it. It’s wondering where to hear the rest of it.

Wonderful survey of Old Testament!!!

Dr. Missler is an amazing researcher and teacher of the Bible. The science behind creation is a bit intimidating, but the rest of the study adds zest to classic stories in the Bible. The survey wets your appetite for Missler’s studies on individual books of the Bible. The individual study of Genesis makes the creation science much more clear and totally awesome (although the study takes around 18 hours). These studies have bolstered my faith walk...

Probably the best biblical overview available

Chuck is a great teacher but the real star is the Bible itself. A truly supernatural book in every respect and every aspect. You're left gasping in wonder at the sheer brilliance and genius of the Word of God. Nothing in literature comes close. Jesus Christ is on every page. I dare you to listen to this overview and especially read the book it describes.

Great insight

Chuck Missler explains old testament in great detail, very helpful for those with some knowledge of scripture already but maybe a bit difficult for people who haven't read the scriptures before.

Very little focus on the bible

I’m sorry but the first two hours completely annoyed me as I found myself asking the audio book to talk about the bible and not random facts and scientific data in a tumble over each other as fast as Chuck Missler could speak them. His enthusiasm is obvious but he speaks too quickly so as to tumble over certain phrases. I gave up after two hours because I wanted to learn about the bible and not 10 dimensions, randomness not being randomness and other nonsensical things that would not help me understand the bible. I understand there are other heavens but why refer to them as us living inside a virtual reality computer generated matrix, nonsense.
