Best Audiobook to Begin With
The instructor references a lot of words that are shared in both languages. This makes it a lot easier to begin learning. An example is Feng Shui means wind and water. So if you want to order water from a restaurant you order Shui.
I never thought I could learn another language but this audiobook makes it feel possible.

Brilliant
Paul Nobles approach is extremely effective and surprisingly simple. I’ve used his french version before and so was very excited for the release of this mandarin version. Met all expectations, recommend to everyone. Thx to the team who made it.

I love this series
Although Im about 5 hours from finishing this book it's probably been the most effective language acquisition method I've found, I just let the lesson wash over me as I listen idly, not caring about memorising anything too hard. not being afraid to make mistakes and relistening to the previous chapter the moment I didn't understand what was being said, has made this journey so easy and relaxing so far.
I can't wait to use my Amazon credits on more mandarin lessons

Best system I've used thus far.
I've tried Rosetta stone, Duolingo, I even studied for a semester in university but this program has shown me the quickest results in conversational Chinese. Can I read/write it? No... (Though I could if I used the PDF) but my goal was conversational Chinese, and this has proved an excellent foundation focusing on grammar and sentence structure.

Excellent Teaching
This is a fantastic resource for anyone looking to learn mandarin. This audiobook gets you speaking and forming sentences quickly and gives you an excellent grasp of the grammar of the language quickly. As someone who started with a basic grasp of the mandarin language, I was surprised that the tones were discussed so late. While the listener may pick up on the tones of the early words and be able to replicate them, this may not be true for every listener. As such, I would recommend familiarizing yourself with the four tones and their pronunciation prior to beginning this course. For the english speaker, these tones are often difficult to distinguish by ear, particularly when first starting.
Despite this, I would still highly recommend this audio course to anyone desiring to learn mandarin.

Great learning material, very well structured.
Paul Noble's structured approach to teaching is high quality. the emphasis around food in this audio book is a nice touch, my wife is chinese and socialising with friends always results in a trip outside to eat or a home gathering to eat and socialise. Paul's approach to the tonal pronunciations is very good and easy for an English speaker to comprehend, using existing sounds of the English language and imaginary situations to reproduce the tonal pronunciations. highly recommend his work !! good stuff !!
