Chance brings together Nina Thomas and elderly Laura Chadwick just at the time when Laura is in need of a friend to help with an interfering family member. Their growing bond is one thing that Nina will be sorry to leave behind as she relocates from Australia to England, but they promise to stay in touch. It will prove to be a significant friendship.

How different to other anna jacobs books
I do not associate spies and espionage to AJ books. I have bought all Larch Lane books but enjoyed none mostly due to the narrators, this time as i know Annie A from other authors I thought it would be good, !wrong. The modern books are not a patch on the earlier sagas i.e the rivenshaw series. In future I will stick to relistening to my favourites

Nothing much at all
Truely disappointed with this book. * It was very short for the cost
* Story was not up to her normal standards
* felt like it was rushed and you knew the ending half way through the book

Trying hard not to cry.
What a lovely story to round off this story arc. Had me on the edge of my seat as to how it would pan out. I would have liked it to go on a bit longer to round out how the blossoming relationships worked out. A fifth book maybe?
