About this listen

Seven strangers are invited to compete to win a clifftop mansion. The rules are simple: each contestant must have at least one hand in contact with one part of the house at all times. The last one to take their hand off, wins the house.

After 36 hours, a contestant is murdered. Soon they start to realise that it may not be the last person to leave the house that wins it, it may be the last person alive.

From the bestselling author of Find Us and Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone comes a locked room mystery where the door is open, but no-one wants to walk through it.

I really loved the Cluedo vibe! And wasn’t expecting the twist at the end. Great fun!

If you love board games!!

Was OK to kill some time. But predictable and formulaic. Not a bad take on the slasher vs detective vs modern YouTube phenomenon thing though.

OK for a free audible.

It took a little while to get used to the American narration (it was significantly improved at 1.3 speed) but I did like this novella, it was a satisfying distraction. The premise at first seemed a bit far fetched, but if you've spent far too long in the rabbit hole of YouTube stunts could actually be true story. I didn't guess the ending!

Twisty whodunnit

I really enjoyed the story. Very entertaining, highly recommend listening. Didn’t think I was going to like it at the beginning but glad I kept going

Really good story, glad I stuck with it. Highly recommended

Silly, but entertaining. Narrator was OTT. I prefer this author's long form works by far.
