Publisher's Summary

Lady Calliope Manning is determined to punish the man she holds responsible for her beloved brother’s death.

She will do anything in her power to destroy him. When rumors swirl that the Earl of Sinclair requires a wealthy bride to rescue himself from dire financial straits, she seizes the opportunity to ruin him at last.

Justin “Sin” Vaughn, the Earl of Sinclair, needs to marry an heiress, and he needs to marry one now. But the sudden, anonymous publication of salacious memoirs rumored to be his obliterates his chances. With polite society convinced he is a murderer, he has only one choice: Find the person behind his supposed memoirs and get his revenge.

Callie never expected Lord Sinclair to discover she wrote Confessions of a Sinful Earl...nor to abduct her and demand restitution in the form of her own hand in marriage. She definitely did not expect to find him so difficult to resist.

Sin is about to teach the beautiful, perfidious Lady Callie a lesson in ruthlessness one scorching-hot kiss at a time.

Engaging story - well written by author.

I enjoyed listening to audiobook and the use of both male and female narrators despite not liking the female narrator’s rendition of Sin.

There were a few unexpected twists which added interest and showed Sin to be just as much a gentleman as the debauched rake the salacious gossip papers made him out to be.

I recommend.

Shame about the narration

I had to stop listening at chapter 6 as Olivia Thompson made the male character sound like some sort of goblin and not like a male voice at all. John lane was ok but only narrated small parts of the book. Please bring back Roslyn Landor, she did such a good job with all of the voices.

Awful narration

Give me Rosalyn Landor. Olivia Thompson has no idea how to do a man’s voice, I won’t be listening to any of hers again.

Deliciously salacious… with a hint of The Simpsons voice actors?

Very sordid and gripping. But the female performer doing Sin’s “grisly” voice sounded like Aunt Patty and Selma from the Simpsons, which then made the male performer sound like Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob sometimes… she was great when doing a female voice, and I get what she was going for, but probably could have been done a lot better.
